Welcome to the Shikhar Institute Faculty App & Student App. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform, including the faculty and student applications. By using the app, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or using the Shikhar Institute Faculty App or Student App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the app immediately.

2. Eligibility

  • Faculty members and students must be officially registered with Shikhar Institute to use the app.
  • Users must provide accurate and verified information during registration.
  • We reserve the right to deny or revoke access if any fraudulent or misleading information is detected.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users must not share login credentials with others.
  • Any unauthorized access, misuse, or attempt to alter system functionality will lead to termination of access and legal action if necessary.
  • Users must ensure that uploaded documents, academic records, and payment details are accurate.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Payments for tuition fees and other charges must be completed via Razorpay or other integrated payment gateways.
  • Users will receive confirmation receipts upon successful transactions.

Auto-Pay Feature:

  • Students who opt for Auto-Pay will have their payments deducted automatically on the due date.

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will only be processed for erroneous transactions or service non-availability.
  • Refund requests must be submitted via mail@shikharinstitute.in within 7 days of the transaction.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days.

5. Data Collection & Privacy Policy

By using the app, you consent to data collection as outlined in our Privacy Policy, including:

  • Personal Information: Name, contact details, Aadhaar verification.
  • Academic Records: Student marks, attendance, and performance history.
  • Faculty Details: Employment history, salary, and verification documents.
  • Technical Data: Device information, login history, and app usage statistics.

6. Security & Data Protection

We employ industry-standard security protocols, including:

  • End-to-End Encryption for login credentials and transactions.
  • Role-Based Access Control to prevent unauthorized modifications.
  • Regular Security Audits to detect vulnerabilities.

However, no system is 100% secure. Users are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and reporting any suspicious activities.

7. Compliance with Google Play, WhatsApp & Razorpay Policies

Our app strictly adheres to:

  • Google Play Developer Policies, ensuring compliance with app guidelines and payment processing.
  • WhatsApp Business Policy, ensuring proper data usage and messaging compliance.
  • Razorpay’s Payment Gateway Regulations, ensuring secure and transparent transactions.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Use the app for illegal, fraudulent, or unethical purposes.
  • Modify, hack, or attempt to disrupt the system functionality.
  • Share copyrighted, misleading, or offensive content.
  • Violate any data protection laws or third-party rights.

Violations may lead to account suspension or legal action.

9. Account Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts without prior notice if:

  • Any misuse, fraudulent activities, or policy violations are detected.
  • There is a legal requirement or regulatory mandate to restrict access.
  • The user repeatedly fails to comply with payment obligations.

10. Updates to Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Users will be notified via in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the app signifies acceptance of any changes.
